Ibiza has everything a convertible asks for: reliable sunshine all season, short distances and roads where the sea keeps appearing between the pines. With convertible car hire in Ibiza, even the drive to dinner becomes part of the day.

Two seats: Porsche or Lamborghini

The 911 Carrera 4S Cabrio and the Huracán Spyder are two-seaters with room for two bags. They suit a couple's getaway where the driving is part of the holiday: the Porsche with all-wheel drive and razor-sharp steering, the Lamborghini with its naturally aspirated V10 and all the attention that comes with it.

Four seats: BMW, Mercedes and the Minis

Travelling as four? The M4 Cabrio, the CLE 53 AMG and both Mini convertibles seat four. The BMW is the sharpest, with 510 hp and all-wheel drive. The Mercedes, with 449 hp, is the most comfortable for a long day out with friends. The Minis are the light, fun option, and easy to park in the villages and in Ibiza Town.

Roads in Ibiza made for a convertible rental

Some drives simply call for an open roof. The Corona plain, crossing fields of almond and carob trees on the way to Santa Agnès. The descent from Sant Josep towards Es Cubells, with the sea opening up ahead. Or the late drive back into Ibiza Town on a warm August night, with Dalt Vila lit up in front of you.

A tip: in July and August the midday sun is fierce. Early morning and the last hours of the afternoon are the best time to drive with the roof down.

Renting a convertible starts wherever you want

Your convertible can be waiting at arrivals, so the roof comes down on the very first drive to the hotel, or parked outside your villa when you wake up. Arriving by sea? We bring it to the marina. Almost the entire fleet is less than two years old and comes with every extra, so the car is as ready for the holiday as you are.

How much does a convertible rental cost in Ibiza?

On a 7-day rental, our convertibles start at €105 per day. There is a big spread, from the light and easy Minis to the Porsche 911 or the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder. Here are some of them:

Which convertibles have four seats?

The BMW M4 Cabrio, the Mercedes CLE 53 AMG and both Minis, the Cooper Cabrio and the Cooper S Cabrio. They are the ones to choose if there are four of you, or if you want a little extra room for beach bags. The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabrio and the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder are two-seaters with space for two bags, perfect for a couple's getaway.

Are your convertibles automatic?

Yes, every convertible we rent has an automatic gearbox. In Ibiza that really helps: there are hills in the inland villages, bends along the coast and, in summer, traffic on the way into Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni. With an automatic, all you need to think about is the road and the view.

When is the best time of day to drive with the roof down?

In July and August the midday sun is fierce, so it is better to keep the roof up and the air conditioning on. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to drive open-top, when the light is at its best and the temperature is pleasant. In spring and early autumn, on the other hand, you can keep the roof down almost all day.

Can I cancel my convertible booking?

Yes. Cancel more than 7 days ahead and we refund everything you paid; between 7 and 2 days before, 50% of the total is charged, and with less than 48 hours' notice the full amount is due. If you just need to change dates or model, that is possible too, subject to availability. For any change, WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us.

Can I take the convertible to Formentera?

No. Our cars cannot leave the island of Ibiza under any circumstances, and that includes the Formentera ferry. If you want to spend a day there, leave the car parked in Ibiza and take the boat across. Ibiza itself, though, is yours to explore: you can drive from one end to the other in about an hour.
