Both Wranglers have 272 hp, five seats and four-wheel drive. The difference is in how you will use them:

  • Jeep Wrangler Sahara: the open-air Wrangler, with a roof and doors that come off and a more comfortable cabin for everyday driving.
  • Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: the most capable off the tarmac, with low-range gearing. For anyone who wants to reach the coves you can only get to by dirt track.

Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid: the Jeep for getting around

The Avenger is the small Jeep: mild hybrid, front-wheel drive, economical and easy to park. It has the brand's look but is made for roads and villages, not tracks.

Can you take the roof off the Jeep Wrangler?

Yes. The Wrangler's roof and doors come off for open-air driving, which is exactly what makes it so much fun in Ibiza: heading down to a cove or along the coast with nothing between you and the view. In summer, though, the midday sun is strong; morning and late afternoon are the best times to drive open-top.

Wrangler Sahara or Wrangler Rubicon?

Choose the Sahara if open-air driving and a more comfortable everyday cabin are the priority. Choose the Rubicon if you plan to tackle rough tracks: it is the most capable off-road, with low-range gearing. Both have 272 hp, four-wheel drive and five seats, so on the road they behave very similarly.

Is the Jeep Avenger a 4x4?

No. The Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid is front-wheel drive: a small, mild-hybrid SUV that is economical and easy to park. It has the brand's look but is made for roads, villages and coves with paved access. If you are heading along dirt tracks, choose one of the Wranglers.

Can I take my Jeep rental to Formentera?

No, our cars cannot leave the island of Ibiza, and that includes the ferry. If you are spending a day in Formentera, leave the Jeep parked in Ibiza and take the boat; it will be waiting when you get back so you can carry on exploring.

What insurance is available for the Jeep?

Two options: insurance with an excess, or fully comprehensive cover with no excess.
